Enrichment Opportunities
Our enrichment activities are an important way for children to develop skills and strengths beyond the classroom. They offer opportunities that many pupils may not otherwise experience and help to broaden their horizons. We believe these activities support mental, social and physical development, while also building confidence, resilience, and curiosity. Most importantly, enrichment plays a key role in developing the whole child and helping to prepare them for future challenges and opportunities.
At Old Hill, we have a Pledge of Opportunities—experiences we aim to provide every pupil during their time with us. Enrichment takes many forms, from sports tournaments through our RRLC PE Hub and creative arts activities, to yearly performances and talent shows. Our pupils also enjoy a wide variety of trips, exciting visits from guest speakers and a range of after-school clubs that help them discover new interests and develop lifelong skills.
